Lost primary key for my Mach E ex 2022. I was planning to get an after market key fob and program new and spare key. What would that do to the PAAK? Will the app need to be reprogrammed as well? Can I do it or does this need a trip to the dealer? Thanks for advice.

With only one key, you cannot program anything. Either a dealer, or a locksmith, would have to do several things:

- remove the key from the vehicle (so it cannot be used)
- program the new key

PaaK is tied to a phone, not a key.

Did you mean with only 1 original key? I will have the original spare key and a second after market key. Thanks

You must have TWO UNIQUE keys. So, if you bought an aftermarket one, and then programmed it to the car, it became a third unique key. Then you lost one of the original keys. You can now buy a 4th key, and program it, if you have the 2nd original key and the aftermarket key you already programmed.

Keep in mind that if you do this, the lost key is fully useable, so if someone found/has it, they could not only take the vehicle, they could remove you from FordPass, etc.
