Has anyone seen this? I have a extended range Mach E. Before the dealer installed the PAAK service update the battery range indicator was based on 350 miles so 50 percent was 175. After the update it was 135 based on 270. Nothing changed in the car. I charged yesterday to 90% and FordPass says 247 miles.

Thanks,
Jim

The estimated range is based on recent usage. If the vehicle was left on while the dealer was working on it, it used some amount of electricity to travel zero miles. That skews your estimated range temporarily. Your real range is the same as before.

It sounds like it reset the driving history when they updated the car. The car "learns" your driving habits and it's actually different for each driver. E.g. if two people have a key to the car, the driving range prediction will be based on whichever person is driving (which driver profile is currently selected).

As you drive it, it will learn your driving habits and start adjusting it's prediction accordingly.
