paddleboard rack?

I want to get into paddleboarding, but my mach-e is on my only car. Is there a paddleboard rack that's usable with it? I've never seen one, but I've also never seen a single other person with a hitch(which I do have for my bike), even though I know plenty of you out there have put hitches on.

I use an inflatable paddle board which is surprisingly rigid. No need for a rack. Rolls up and fits in a large sack with shoulder straps. But there are some posts on this forum about roof racks that seem to work.

I was given a really nice rigged board, so I would prefer to use that as it was free, but it looks like the rack will end up being about 1k for the rack

You do need a fit kit, footings/clamps, bars and, ideally, locks. If you can wait a couple of weeks, the deal referenced in this thread includes all of those pieces for closer to $400. You may need additional hardware to mount the board onto the rack, which would be a separate purchase.
