What was the prior delivery you are referring to here? I can't see how it could make it from being at the ramp for NFS to being at the dealer in just 10 days... or could I?

Oh yeah. That is record setting territory haha. Two weeks from ship to delivery! Unless that date was wrong...
EDIT: Whoops, I see that's shipping from KS. So yeah! Maybe there's hope.

I just tracked two cars from KC to Atlanta and they were 13 days and 11 days respectively.
KC on 2/5 - Atlanta Dealer on 2/18
KC on 2/27 - Atlanta Dealer on 3/10

My pals app updated today with a 3/14 date in KC. Hoping the train keeps on improving..

Palsapp updated for me on Thursday for my car headed to Atlanta. Based on the trip for their FCTP car, I am expecting it at the dealer in Alpharetta this upcoming Friday. My car was close to the FCTP car's transit time from Mexico to Kansas City, so I'm fairly confident in the time from KC to ATL

My car:
Macheforum.com tracker page ship date: 2/25/21
Palsapp update that it reached KC (delivered to Norfolk Southern Voltz Yard): 3/11/21
Total time to KC: 14 days
ETA End Date: 4/3/21

Same dealer's FCTP car:
Macheforum.com tracker page ship date: 1/15/21
Palsapp update that it reached KC (delivered to NS Voltz Yard): 1/27/21
Total time to KC: 12 days
Palsapp update it was delivered to dealer: 2/4/21
Time from KC to dealer: 8 days

And their location in Woodstock got an FCTP car at the beginning of March. It won't load on the tracker page so I don't know when it left Mexico, but palsapp shows it went from KC to Woodstock in 10 days

Can someone who has received their car and who tracked their order on palsapp.com describe what they saw at different stages?

Does palsapp cover a) the journey from Mexico to KC, b) the journey from KC to my local rail distribution point, or c) both?

I'm not expecting delivery until the end of March. But palsapp still shows pending (the origin is listed as Kansas City; the destination is null). Does that mean it's still in Mexico? Or is it in KC and just waiting to be shipped to my regional rail center?

Palsapp is frustratingly incomplete. For some it will show what you need to know but often it will lack the information you really want or will be updated after your dealer calls to say the car has been delivered.

Perhaps Colorado cars are flown into CO.

Where do you get the Trip# and the #traincarbuddies?

You have to have at least one update in palsapp for it to show up, but there is a column for trip # (first column) and freight bill # (5th column) and if you put either of those into the palsapp search box instead of the VIN, it will show you all the cars that were on the same truck as yours

getting an update, just one, is the key. None for me. But there is another vehicle (VIN) on the freight bill, not an MMe

Hello, everyone. My MME was built on 1 Mar 21 and according to the PALS app, arrived in KC on 15 Mar, with expected delivery to Costa Mesa, CA by 5 Apr. Is it possible to track its progress with this additional information, or will PALS do that for me?

Not exactly. That's only true if all cars on the truck have the same destination.
In my case, it was the only one on my freight bill. I have to presume the other cars on the truck went to different dealer destinations and thus had different trip/ freight bill numbers.

I'm in a similar delivery area as New Holland, PA. Mine was built on 2/11, so here's hoping that I'm one of the cars that doesn't update in Palsapp until after dealer delivery and it actually just shows up this week.
