What side sensors? All the sensors are active at all times.

The APA delete cars are missing the linbus chip that drives the 4 side facing ultrasonics. That's why it's missing as the side sensors have no communication. It's a $1 little chip that's missing.

Those are blis radars and NOT used for APA. These are the dead sensors in non-APA cars

It may help to hit the record feedback button on Sync and ask Ford to provide retro fit kit for park assist so they know people are asking for it.
