Simply backing up into a parking spot at literally 2 mph and now I have a reduced power powertrain fault.

can someone please explain what might have happened? I am really hoping this is something simple.
Car abruptly came to a halt then the message appeared.

Really not looking forward to the car going to the shop yet again!

Sorry that I do not know the codes, however...the same message displayed when turning around tight to pull into a charging space. Freaked out my wife because we were enroute on a long trip.
We just turned off the MME, waited a few seconds, turned it on and the MME functioned normal for the remaining 2,000+ miles.

Thanks for the input. I wish that was my case. Just drove the car around for a bit and the fault is still there. Guessing this will be another long fix.

So far the car has been in the shop about 2 months total with the previous repairs. Can’t wait to see how how long we are without the car this time.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Well after a good nights rest the car decided to clear the code/issue. Very relieved but also confused. But hey if I don’t have to go to the dealer that’s great!

I just had a powertrain fault this week. The car was parked in the garage for a couple days. The only thing that happened during that time was an OTA. Made an appointment to take it in the next day. When I went go, the fault had cleared and there was no issue. There had been another OTA the previous night.

Maybe there should be a way for the owner to do a restart, just like you do when your computer operating system needs to be reset.

I keep an OBD-2 reader in the car and CarScanner on my phone just in case I need to pull codes. I have only needed that twice (HVBJB and front camera). I hope your issue stays away, but you should consider a cheap OBD-2 reader that is compatible with CarScanner. ??

Oh, and I did get an SSN when the car was just sitting and I was listening to the radio. Luckily, I was in line to check the car in for the HVBJB. It seems the car felt the issue that brought up the SVS was now requiring an SSN and the car was immobile. I let the dealer’s service guys push it out of the line. ??

Forscan is a Ford owners life vest for digital anomalies.
The dealership is the last resort for when Forscan can't correct the issue.

And then there's the 10mm wrench, when it comes to the Mach-E specifically. ?
It's the Cntl/Alt/Del that you can hold in your hand.
