Performance upgrade

Hi Does anyone know if the performance upgrade is available in the UK and how much it costs. My new GT in glacier grey is currently in Liverpool awaiting shipping.

I think you order the upgrade through the Ford connected store but as I haven’t connected the car to the app yet I can’t see any of the available upgrades.

Not available as an option when building a new car on the Ford uk website

UK GTs are the performance edition, and MY24+ has 950Nm torque, which is around 700 lbft. The PE upgrade in the US is for those who have the non-performance edition GT.
So the UK model is as good as it gets for the moment, BTW even the rally pack doesn't add additional torque

been driving my GT for the past 6 weeks from a first edition and really enjoying it, don't see many GTs here in the UK but then I saw 3 last weekend (Blue, red and orange)

Looking forward to driving it. Only had a test drive in a rwd premium. Only one I’ve seen in Northern Ireland was a grabber blue which looked fantastic. Not saw any glacier greys only photos and videos. Hopefully made the right colour choice.

I wanted silver but Ford doesn’t offer it so went with Glacier Gray and really like it. It changes color and tone often depending on the ambient light. Sometimes looks like a dark battleship gray and other times a pale sky blue. My family keeps asking if it’s a different car every time they see it because of the change in color/tone. ?

Mark that looks fantastic! Can you see the metallic flakes in the paintwork. Some of the photos the paint looks flat even though it’s a metallic paint

It does look flat in certain light and not in others. You can see the metallic but only up close and mostly in direct sunlight. The metallic colors are unique. They are magenta, cyan and gold flakes. That’s why the color changes in certain light.

If it’s a cloudy day, it will look a light dove gray which is the base color. The sun is what reflects the metallics giving it different color tones.

It’s very difficult to take a close up of the metallic color chips. I had to darken the photo a lot to make them show up but you can easily see them in sunlight and they are brighter and more colorful than this.

That's my color and I love it. Wish I could have sprung for a GT but that's out of my range for a while longer. Still makes me smile every time I drive my e4x though.
