My car went in for a tow bar to be fitted but also some warranty items. The car had a software upgrade which took so long the tow bar is to fitted next week.
I wrote this email to my dealer
The MME had a big software upgrade so the tow bar will be fitted next Friday.
This is an observation, not a complaint. It needs passing to service,
When I drove the car out of the parking bay it accelerated much more violently than I expected.
It did not respond when I took my foot off the accelerator, it rolled on.
I stopped and checked the car settings and it had One Pedal turned off. The driving experience is very different and could easily catch someone out and possibly cause an accident.
I suggest either noting the original settings and resetting them after a software upgrade or warning owners that the driving settings may need putting back to the original settings.
The software upgrade obviously put the car to default settings.
Of course if Ford were a software company those driver settings would be stored in file that is not overwritten, but they are not.

Regards
Rex
I suppose there is a possibility that the mechanic changed the setting but I doubt it.
