Phone as a key

set my phone up as a key and it worked great until the last couple of times. i could unlock the vehicle but it wouldn’t allow me to start it until i input my password. any suggestion?

Carry a key fob, or get used to entering the password occasionally.

If you're a bit more techy, you could experiment with adjusting your phone's energy saving settings and FordPass app settings (the ones enforced by the phone). Or try placing your phone on the phone tray instead of leaving in your pocket... Experiments like that might seem to help, but they shouldn't be necessary, of course.

Join the club lol. I was only be able to use it 1 week. Can't get it to finish key setup now. I can still remote start lock and unlock is really more useful.
