So I've had my 22 MME GT for a few weeks now, and after a while I noticed this line on the camera display when parking in my garage. I don't know if it was there when I got it, but after I saw it I couldn't un-see it. Though I do have to point it out to others, my dad for example didn't notice it until I pointed it out.
My heart sank looking at it, because I was convinced the camera lens was cracked. I thought that maybe a rock had hit it while driving. However, after cleaning it with a microfiber cloth and inspecting it closely, I really couldn't see any damage to it at all. Eventually, I started to suspect it may be the pony logo on the grille, the pattern of the "crack" seemed suspiciously similar to the ridges of the pony. I covered it up with some duct tape, and what do you know, it mostly disappeared!
The next step was to search around and see if it's normal, but I actually haven't been able to find any posts discussing it? Maybe I'm not using the right search terms. In any case, is this really normal and expected, or is the camera like, misaligned or something?
