Covid delayed my order. Poor customer service [is about to] cancel my order.

Sent to the owner of my local dealership. What do ya know, one of the managers who’s been avoiding me finally responded!

Yeah, that's total BS. Your order isn't delayed because of parts or because you ordered from a dealer.... (There may be general overall delays but that would be different if they shared that). They... Honestly I don't know what they are thinking.

I can imagine! I'm not that excited anymore either, and my car is supposed to be built this week. I doubt it will though. Coupled with no updated shipping/logistics information, and this is getting real old, real quick.

Thats what I’ve always tried to keep in mind, but... at this point, they’re contradicting themselves. And now I learn that there’s a zone manger that they’re putting everything off on!

This is off topic but in either 2003 or 2004 I was in a Thunderbird Show at Joe Cotton Ford and ended up winning First Place in my Thunderbird Class. The dealer name just jumped out at me when I read your post. Sorry they have not been responsive to you and I hope you get some answers soon that will rectify your situation.

PS - I'm impatient to wait for my Mach E (was told on this forum that it would probably be April-June 2021 for my 10-12-2020 dealer order) but can only imagine what you're going through waiting for so long!

dealers are dealers. If you want a mustang mach e no matter if you order it online you are going to have to deal with a dealer. No going around that. Don't cancel. Wait till your car arrives and if you feel they are up charging you (which I understand they still can) then you can walk away.

The dealer experience in the Netherlands is sometimes below par, this is unbelievable....(i am a bit surpriced when you order in july you're not told there are already 50.000?? orders/reservation in to manage your expectations)

Is it so difficult for dealers to be honest and answer simple questions? If you don't have an answer say so........

I hope there is some kind of solution for your problem

It's amazing what kind of movement one gets after emailing the owner of a dealership and cc'ing all of the sales agents on it! Here's an update from just last night...

No, its not a build date, but it’s more COMMUNICATION and transparency than I’ve received in 6 months.
