Took a good look around and can't find any way to charge my 911. Still, looks good next to my FE.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Porsche or MME? Or Both? 20210904_180541

Just took them both out for a spin. MME power is instant, but once the Turbo is spooled up and for overtaking and cornering, the 911 is in a different league.

Each excellent in their own class of car and for different reasons.

Well you have to burn gas, but it does have an alternator to charge the battery, yes? :)
Apparently you can need to charge the 12v battery on both using 2 connectors and both have the batteries in the front.

under normal circumstances you should never have to charge the 12v on the mach e. Some of the early cars had issues with the 12v not being topped up when charging the main battery, but that was sorted long ago.

Don't worry, we were only joking.

A few cars back I owned a new 997. I loved that car so much as I thought I would not own one then for some reason I could afford it. They are very amazing cars and I have a massive soft spot for Porsche as drove them for the last 25 years exclusively (before the MME).

Is the 911 not a dinosaur juice vehicle? For me it is clearly in a different league as it is a climate changing POS. That is a personal opinion and not the consensus. Fire away boys ;) this MME matches my old v8's and has a definite passing presences on the highway. That is all I need. A truck is now our dump truck which is less than a mile away. I fill up a jerry can for it once and awhile and pull in to do that with the MME. Have a large tote with a lid so it does not stink like petrol does. I have the 12V charger/conditioner plugged in on the truck more than the css on the mme ?.

Agreed. Had a few over the years including a 964 that I used to track and use at the Nurburgring. Happy memories. Still not sure if I will keep this one.

My previous 964 and current VW camper were probably greener than the Mach E. Although they use petrol for propulsion, they both lasted over 50 years and I doubt the same will be true of this. They were also built and delivered from a single factory on the same continent and didn't have to travel from Mexico for me to drive.

Totally get your point though, hence me getting a Mach E.

I made a conscience decision to switch. I also built my v8's and had a hot rod 39 chev on a Camaro clip where I learnt to weld. Guessed with your range you may be a bit the same. This MME is quick enough 55 to 90 mph for me kicks in. Definite if you make the decision you are getting a quick one. ;) Would love to test a gt performance just to know but this horse is scares up here to date. We are so far happy with our ev purchase.

It’s not like the MME can make the claim “no dinosaurs were harmed in the making of this vehicle.” ?
