Infelizmente não tive grande escolha na compra do mme, devido à dificuldade de entrega de veiculos. É um problema geral. Comprei a versão Standard RWD com Pack Tech 269cv. E que versão é o teu?

Standard RWD com Tech+.

Só há duas coisas que queria do AWD: painéis pretos e os faróis. Pela diferença de preço acho que não se justifica.

Mach-E e assistência em Portugal

Alguém tem um Mach-E em Portugal?

Olá malta.

Estou a pensar em comprar um Mach-E no Porto.


Disseram-me que a assistência da Ford para carros elétricos não é grande coisa.
Nomeadamente, um primo meu que vende carros (actualmente trabalha para a Hyundai mas já trabalhou com outras marcas, tal como Audi, BMW, etc...)

Bom, ele disse-me que me iria arrepender de comprar o Mach e. Quando o questionei porquê, ele disse-me que a assistência da Ford em Portugal é má.
Em concreto e a título de exemplo, ele vendeu um Mach-E e diz que o cliente tem que ir do Norte até Coimbra para fazer as revisões e reparações, pois não há grande assistência no Norte do País.
(Nós somos do Porto).


Obviamente fiquei bastante surpreendido e inseguro quando ele me disse isso.
Independentemente do meu primo trabalhar com Hyundai agora, quando um profissional de uma área diz algo assim tão taxativo, é no mínimo de ponderar bem o que nos estão a dizer.

Alguém que tenha um Mach-E que me possa mandar mensagem privada ou postar aqui para contar e partilhar a sua experiência?

I am making travel arrangements for a trip to Portugal next year, and I would like to rent a Mustang Mach-E. But if the Mach-E is not available at that time, can you suggest any similar electric vehicles for rental in Portugal? Another concern I have is the availability of charging stations, particularly outside Lisbon. Hi Joe,

MachE is not really a success in Portugal so there are not many on the roads, so i think i would be quite difficult to find any rent-a-car with these on their fleet. That said i'll find maybe Teslas, Kia/Hyundai or Audi. I have also an Kia EV6 and i'm quite happy with it, so i would try something like that, in terms of space and dimensions is kind of like the MachE and has good performance, range and excellent charging rates.

In Portugal our public networks is obligated to be connected to a common charging network so if you have a card you'll be able to charge on any public charger. If you have the BlueOval card from Ford i think you'll be able to charge easily on any charger.

We've also an App called Miio that shows you all the public charging locations and is also possible have a credit card on this App and use it to charge your car instead of the card.

Anyway for your specific route i would first use ABRP to see the route and what chargers are recommended knowing that with the card or Miio App you'll be able to charge on any that the app suggests.

Also most hotels have public chargers and most of them are free, being Portugal a quite small country with only 700km between the two most distant cities maybe you can do your trip charging only on the hotels.

Thanks so much for the detailed reply and suggestions, Tiago! It sounds like a good plan to rent Kia EV6 or Hyundai Ioniq 5, if Mach-E is not possible. I'm glad to hear the public charging network and apps like Miio make it easy to charge across Portugal. Your recommendation to use ABRP to plan charging stops along my route is really helpful. Hotels having free chargers are also very convenient. This is all really assuaging my range anxiety concerns about exploring beyond Lisbon and Porto. I appreciate you taking the time to provide your local insights - it's extremely helpful for planning my upcoming Portugal trip!
