it was just the early 2021s, the Job 1s, it shipped without that feature, the rest of us have had it since new. But a better way to look at is cars built in 2020 are STILL getting updates and new features, love improvements after purchase.

Could you kindly elaborate on what you mean here? If the 'automatic updates' only applies to doing the installs that require the vehicle to be off, why should it matter if 'auto-updates," is off or on to check for updates? Seems to me that you would be able to manually check regardless the setting? I don't understand how having "auto-updates" set to 'off' eliminates some of the guessing? Not trying to be obtuse here, just trying to understand. Thanks!

When you turn Auto Updates off, Sync will display a notification when you turn the car on that an update is awaiting your approval via the Update Now button.
