Hey everyone, I recently had my car picked up and taken to the dealership because it wouldn't move. IT had stop safely warning on there and the gear selecter wouldn't move. I was on reddit and they said it could be a few things. Is there anyone who can look up the codes on here? I can get you my VIN and would really appreciate the help! It's a 2021 MME Select. I should also mention that it does have a powertrain fault as well. I took it to the dealership and they had parts on back order. They said "don't drive it long distances" and we'll call as soon as the part comes in.

thanks in advance!!

He man, i’d delete the vin. Send it as a DM only. You have a 2021, so likely the little one is misbehaving.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Powertrain Fault, HVBJB recall image

I would say that the BECM code is the important one

But it could just be a bad 12 volt battery causing the contactors to not close.

Thank you

Thanks man! I'm going to give them a call and let them know.
I would make sure you let them know that the 12 volt battery is very low and can cause HV contacts to not work ( safety).

They always appreciate the customer letting them know what might be the problem. ???

Seriously, I hope they are savvy enough at this point in the Mach-E history (4+ years) to know what to expect and check first. But sadly we're not there yet. At least not widespread.

Yeah hopefully they check the 12 volt battery first as it is not at good voltage which is critical for the HV system to work properly.

His VIN is now in your reply - don’t know if you can delete it but you seemed concerned.

Yes, you’re right. Moving too fast this morning. I can and will delete.

Lmao, yeah right!! I remember working in service department at a boat dealership. I loved it when they(the customer) knew what was going on. But that's just me! lol

Charge/jump 12V battery and reevaluate. If contractor is still stuck, replace HVBJB. That fluid pump stalled code should also be addressed if persists.

The pump is supposed to be fixed soon. Hopefully the clips they need are there this friday. I'm going to ask them about the HVBJB when I get a chance to call. I let one of the guys at the dealership know what was going on with the car.
