We're at about 13000 miles on our 2024 4WD Mache. We had the "12V battery/lockout recall service performed about 2 weeks ago". The car was then driven for about a week and then set for about a week. I plugged it in 2 days ago, at home, to charge it for the first time after service, and noted that the "circle of charge level LED indicator panels" next to the charge port did not light up and blink, as they usually do during the charge. I checked on my phones Ford app, and the cars instrument panel and both showed that the car was being charged from 20% and it did achieve 100% charge in anticipation of a trip this morning. The charge indicator next to the charge port never lit.

At start up this morning the POWERTRAIN MALFUNCTION/REDUCED POWER message immediately appeared. Unfortunately, my wife had to drive 250 miles to Geneva, Illinois today. She's currently en route. So far, she's only noted that the distance estimate seems to be falling more rapidly than anticipated. She'll soon be stopping to recharge on the road.

Does this sound familiar to anyone whose experienced this message alert?

I got that warning once. After a while it went away, but I took it for service anyway. They did a couple of software updates that can't be done OTA.

TY for your reply....Due to excellent customer service from John P @ Haggerty Ford of W Chitown, we got it into service this morning.

Will get updated in a couple of hours and will share.

WOW! Based on multiple errors, and past experience with this cluster of symptoms, Haggerty removed the front bumper and found that rodent(s) had chewed on a wiring harness located pretty much dead center.
We'd had the car parked in our country-style pole barn garage for about a week, undisturbed, and John Pederson said that was likely when they invaded.
