Pre-collision assist, not available

Picked up my car from the dealership Friday. They performed TSB 23-2040. All fixed FOR A WHOLE 36 HOURS!

Front camera fault and PCA popped back on. In fact it did it while using BlueCruise. I'll spare the audience the drama that unfolded when it happened. I've DM'd @Ford Motor Company the details and reached back out to my service advisor.

Guess I will be calling my dealer tomorrow.

I have gotten this message pop up three times in the last two weeks.

The first two times, turning the car completely off and back on cleared the error. Yesterday it popped up again while driving but, after a restart, I got this message: Pre-Collision Assist Not Available and it comes up immediately now when I try to engage Adaptive Cruise Control.

I have never gotten the Front Camera Fault message (yet).

Went in last night for work to start today. Crossing fingers they get this fixed. Have had the "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available" for the last three weeks. PITA to drive it without BC and Adaptive Cruise. Even got pulled over for going 43 in a 30 in my town. No ticket but it is so easy to do. Wish me luck!

Well...it turns out the issue with my car was the CCM was not mounted on the bracket. They found it after removing the front bumper cover. CCM was reinstalled, bumper cover reassembled, did a successful alignment and cleared the error codes.

They also did several updates on various modules for Blue Cruise, reprogramed HVAC module, replaced electronic parking brake harness connector and charge cord stuck battery charger control modules. All under different Ford recalls.

Tested Blue Cruise and Adaptive Cruise Control and both worked as before. Nice to have Max back to full capacity! Now, about BC 1.3...Ford?
