I should have been more clear, I meant to delete all the schedules from both, and then set the departure times from the car specifically, not the app.

Therefore; clear anything on the charger to make it a dummy ESVE, delete all profiles from the Ford app, walk into the car and set the preconditioning from there
Yes, hopefully that will work as it should. Then if that works you can give it a try again on the app. I know the app did work for me. You just have to make sure to press the use preferred settings button on the app for the selected location.

Once you know it is working you can send revisions from the app remotely. Just try to make it as simple as possible right now to ensure it is working.

Howdy! I have a 2023 Mach-E Premium AWD STD battery and I use a Grizzl-E Avalanche charging station at home in Ontario, Canada.
What % battery charge do you have set for the car to charge to each night?

Consider that if the car is charging the battery, it may not also start warming the cabin at the same time. I believe battery recharging takes first priority and only after battery charging is finished will the car warm the cabin.

If you are attempting to charge up to, say 100%, that may take a lot of hours and not allow for the car to get the cabin heated for your departure time.

In my case the car does successfully get to 100% before preconditioning is required by about 4-5 hours.

UPDATE - Thank you to everyone who has helped with this issue. I believe the issue of preconditioning has been resolved.

The steps I did to fix:
  1. Deleted all profiles from the phone and the vehicle for preferred charging times and departure times. Checked they deleted from the app as well.
  2. Deleted the profile on my charger that set a schedule.
    1. NOTE: the schedule was already disabled when the issue started but was turned OFF.
    2. In my troubleshooting I deleted even the mention of a schedule. Thanks @GatorGrowl & @AKgrampy & @Shayne for the idea. (I think this is what fixed it).
  3. Walked into the car to set the departure times from the cabin. Thanks @alexgorod & @Squid
  4. Rebooted the charger for good measure.
Yesterday I connected the charger and left it overnight and this morning I got the message that the cabin temp is ready. I think the solution here was deleting any semblance of a profile on the charger, but it didn't hurt ensuring all radio buttons were turned on from the vehicle vs the app.

Good to hear you found a procedure that worked. You should see first on the app "preparing for drive" you will hear the recirc pump and the batteries are being warmed up. If you watch your app you will see your range grow as the batteries warm. Then at the end your will see "cabin Conditioning" this is the hvac heating the cabin (you may hear the blower).
