I noticed this morning that my car was preconditioning 1 hour before my scheduled departure time. Is this normal? I also got a notice an hour before departure time that my cabin temperature was ready. I checked that all time zones are correct.

Depending on ambient temperature, yes.

Yes, mine regularly starts that early if it is relatively cold outside.

Hmm, It's in the 20's here this morning, but has been much colder in recent weeks and I haven't noticed it start that early. What really confused me was the cabin temp ready message 1 hour 10 minutes before departure.

Cabin temperature is reached far quicker than the high voltage battery temperature.

Also, I should mention that FordPass has been god-awful for me lately. My "current" status is way out of whack with what's actually going on. So I really don't put too much stock into anything its telling me at any particular time (especially with charging) and instead rely on the ChargePoint app and the Scriptable widget.

Yes, I think related to the Fordpass bad update. For me battery warming starts about 1 hour before departure and cabin conditioning starts 30 minutes later.
