I tried to do my paperwork online, but there was an error and it couldn't pull up the incentives. Ended up doing it all at the dealership. My dealership was super easy to work with. Didn't do any add-ons. Xplan cap the doc fees so you're protected there. The numbers were really easy to decipher. Just make sure you get all the credit that is due. This includes your deposit, the 750$ incentive if you were converted to a 2022 model from a 2021. And also the Option credit. Also make sure that give you the lowest rate if you have good credit. That's all there is.

What is the maximum downpayment you can make under the Ford Options plan? My dealer in MN claims 25% is the maximum downpayment. I am questioning their maximum downpayment claim of 25% when other forum members have stated higher down payments up to 45%. Thanks

It's 45%. I put that much down on mine. You can even do that in the Ford.com calculator when trying to figure out payments. If you try and go over it, the calculator resets itself, so you can figure out what fairly accurately what you need to be prepared to bring/pay as a down payment. I got it at the 1.4% on my pre-Dec 8 increase price, so all went well for me.

Thanks for the quick response. The Ford.com calculator allowed me to enter a maximum downpayment of 44% which is just fine.
