I am strongly considering ordering a California Route 1. I asked my local dealer and they said expect a 6-9 month wait, which I am ok with. Is that accurate?

If I order it, will the price be what Ford says on the order?

The dealership also said to expect a mark up for $5K-10K over asking price, which I am not ok with. Is the mark up out of line or is it only is you buy from inventory of local dealership if someone decides to not purchase the ordered car?

Just ask a different dealer and get it in writing that they won't have any ADM. And 6 months sounds about right. Order from a good dealer and in the meantime, check local dealer inventories and you may be able to find one sooner with no ADM.
