Problem with service and Ford is not helping.

I would be OK if it was due to part shortage but before I took the car in for service they ordered the parts and according to the dealer they ordered parts multiple time when they said 3 of the replacement parts were defective. I think they problem is they don't how how to work on a EV.
What's happening in your specific case is unacceptable IMO.

Thanks only the beginning. The dealer told me the car has had problems before so this is not a new problem. I bought the car with 600 miles from Ford. I checked my service history on my app I also spoke to Ford and the Ford dealership I bought the car from. I was told by Ford and the dealership this car has no repair history just service preparing for sale. So they are lying to me.

I worked for a very large, extremley bureaucratic world wide logistics firm. I firmly believe in taking anway away all their excuses and ability to say “But we didn’t know!” That is the lowest one on the checklist. The BEV Team at 1.800.392.3673 is number two.

I have zero illusion that the Ford Socisl Media team here is going to be able to help with an intransigent dealer or with part shortages or a variety of other very real issues.
The dealer that I’ve been working with is anything but intransigent. They’ve been helpful and even got my car in early to diagnose the issue rather than wait. The issue I have is that the parts for these recalls, which have been ordered several times, can’t seem to be located. I can’t believe it’s a dealer problem because after the first ten days the dealer started to pay for a rental out of their pocket and then found a loaner another ten days after that, so they are making efforts. Ford corporate, on the other hand, can’t even return a call.

Im glad to hear some people have found good dealers. Hang on to them. The only dealer in these parts gives intransigent dealers a bad name. As for the Ford Motor Company as an entity — I do not disagree with you.

You know the problem i have with the on back order excuse, is they are building cars if they don't have parts how can they be building cars?

I agree which is also why I’m annoyed at corporate because they tell me they don’t have access to inventory management. Bullshit.

I used to be a network engineer and I maintained the network at the GM 1.5 million sq feet warehouse in Lancing MI and the campus at Springhill TN assembly plant and I can tell you they track every bolt and washer and every person that touched that part. Assembly plants used a system called "just in time" as the car goes down the line the next part needed magically appears. When a bolt is torqued they even record the person, tool and final torqued number. It's incredible how they keep track of everything. If they were to have a disgruntled employee leaving bolts lose they can easily track every car that person touched.

Ford called. She listened to the problems I'm having. She tried to call the dealership three times to speak to the service personnel that is managing my car. She told me she has not been able to speak to her. She hopes to have news for me on Thursday but she setup a meeting on Monday to talk again.

Feeling much better let's see what happens now.

Feb 28th I took my MME into my local Ford dealership for the little halo on the button to open the door was not working soon after the dealer text me saying they saw charging errors, I told them have never experience charging problems before. she told me I would not see these errors, that sounded strange to me. the dealer ordered parts. when the parts were in I took the car back in on March 5 and to this day I still dont have my car back. the dealer said that three new replacement part failed and now they want to replace someone else and if that does not work then its the cars wiring. at one point they told me that ford told them to put all the original parts back in. On 3/26 I went online and chatted with Ford and they opened a ticket to see whats going on with my car I was told they would contact me in 1 day and I have yet to hear from Ford also, I called Ford on 3/29 again to see if they had an update but I was told it has been assigned to someone but they have no update.

At this point i'm concerned with me opening the ticket with Ford to check up on the dealer and the dealer lacking the knowledge of working on my car, i'm concerned that they will put something together wrong and, in the future, I will have a problem with the car.

At this point I dont know what to do. If they call me saying the car it ready how can I trust them that they did not damage something else. Am I over reacting? I"m not including all the back and forth with the dealer about my car but its scary the lack of knowledge they have on working on an EV.

funny how things happen. My car has been dead for almost a month. Yesterday Ford called the dealer of what's going on with my car. The service writer was unavailable to speak to Ford but someone told Ford the car is taking so long cause parts are on back order but today i checked and the car was back online 24 hours ago. Did they get the on back order parts yesterday and put them on the car the same day?. I don't know but i think so. The car has not checked in again so maybe they killed it again.

The car does not have a problem the car has been fantastic. the problem with the car has been dealer credited. I was at the dealer today and it looks like the car might be ready to pick up in the next few days.
