Checked, only driver mirror, passenger works fine.

A software update didn't do that, that's drag in the gear mechanism. Probably just normal wear from the mirrors folding and unfolding. Just like anything, it will wear out eventually and stop working.

Yeah, I know this has nothing to do with updates. @Ghost Ryder in an early post complained about this issue. Maybe is a good idea to start a new thread if more people have this mechanical issue.

It occurs with both my mirrors. Fold smoothly but stutters when opening.

Same, since day 1.
