Problems with ford pass app

My ford pass app will not update on my Samsung s21. When I attempt update it says "something went wrong try again". I have tried multiple times with the same result. I have restarted the phone with no change. I uninstalled the app and now it will not reinstall. When you push the install button it goes away for a second or two and reappears and will not install. I went to the ford pass trouble shooting website and tried all of their suggestions to no avail. I called my carrier, att, and although they had me try everything, nothing has worked. I suspect I need to call ford support, but of course they are closed until monday.
Was hoping some of you tech geniuses might have some ideas how to rectify this. Thanks.

Have you tried restarting the phone, yet? Could be Play services or something related that aren't behaving properly. A phone restart may fix this.

As I stated above restarted the phone many times without change, att had me remove all networks, reinstall and checked everything on the phone with no change, Uninstalled the app and now will not install. Have installed multiple other apps from play store without issues yesterday. The ford pass app works fine on my android tablet.

Have you tried installling it over cellular instead of WiFi?

Thanks for the suggestions. I have 189gb of storage avaiable and installing with wifi or 5g makes no difference.

I had this problem with "Android Auto " not working [in car], long story - short , turned off [ un checked] USB Debugging in Developer Options , and it works fine now . Samsung S22 256 gig mem.{ had tryed , also uninstalling ,rebooting phone and re install , and shouting off car , waiting 5 or 10 minutes between retrys - 23 Mach-E premium , AWD 91KWH.

I had some add blocking settings that prevented FordPass from working correctly
