Profile not loading?

Hey Folks, got a weird one that makes 0 sense to me.

If I remote start my car from the App, Watch, or Automation on my new Iphone 13 my profile will log in as "guest" when I get in the car. I can not figure out why this behavior exists since it didnt when I had the XS Max, The Automation does web calls to fords site so it has nothing at all to do with the phone.

If I just get in and push the button either with PAAK (when it works) or the fob it works 99.999% of the time, but now remote start, get in car, push button, Guest....

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or am I just stuck?

Its a minor Nit at this point, I set up all my radio and car options as guest now as well so its indifferent, but...

Profiles have been pretty wonky all around. The 1.7.1 update seems to help a lot. You may find that this is resolved after you get that OTA, whenever that may be for your car.

that would be nice, I did a search and didnt see anything matching, at least its not just me.

You aren't alone, I have this same problem. Originally I didn't but when I had to reinstall the FordPass app it started and happens every time I do a remote start. I don't have 1.7x update yet so hoping that will fix it.

Weird thing is now, yesterday i remote started, then left for my office. Today, I remote started and left to run an errand and the profile loaded....

Glad I found this thread and hope Ford is monitoring. My personal profile has been flawless until I used a remote start a few days ago. MMe picked up from dealership 10/8/21 and by then the new update was said to have been installed… will check to see. I reactivated my personal profile in settings then all was fine (settings were intact).
