I just got my Pulsar Plus charger last week (thanks Fisker). I had been using the FMC for the last year and a half. I immediately noticed how much thicker the PP cable is. I had noticed the FMC cable being warm during charging. I figured the larger PP cable wouldn't be as noticeable, but it feels quite a bit warmer when charging (sorry I don't have a good thermometer to measure). It's on a 50A circuit, so it's set for 40A (compared to 30A for the FMC). Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed the cable being very warm?

Hard to say what’s normal, but the lowest temp rating on thermoplastic insulation is 60C (most are rated to 75C and some even higher), so it could be very warm to the touch and not be a problem.
