I'm reaching out to the Mach E community to see if this reacquired vehicle is worth the risk. I'm considering this:
https://www.applefordwhitebearlake....ch-e-premium-awd-4-door-suv-3fmtk3suxpma70939

Here's the Autocheck:
https://www.applefordwhitebearlake.com/dealer-inspire-inventory/autocheck/?vin=3FMTK3SUXPMA70939

I did get the repair history and have provided it here. For those with experience dealing with these, are there any red flags? Any questions I should prod the dealer with? Thanks in advanced!

I’m not knowledgeable enough to spot any red flags. I will say I would want an extended ford warranty. I also notice you’re in ND so your range in the winter will be about half of normal. That being said, these things are a blast to drive! Good luck.

Just from my point of view being a past owner of a 23 GT that had whatever package it came with it. It didn’t have the performance or ride package or anything. It was pretty much a standard GT. But just from owning that and putting almost 10,000 miles on it like I was mentioning on another thread where on car gurus there’s lots of 24s and 25s out there for sale used and they’re asking on some of them around $57-$59,000 and then when I look out on Carvana at a 23 or 24 GT and it’s less than 40 and it doesn’t have a lot of miles I mean maybe less than 30,000 miles. I’m thinking I may jump on one of those next year or the year after by that time. They’ll be 25s out there but that’s gonna be my approach anything under 40 with under 30,000 miles seems like a pretty good deal.

So here’s the problem when you’re finding one like this the day you find it if you stop and think for a minute, someone else is already purchased it. This would be a great deal because of the shipping cost $290 , but the same car that’s still out there for sale has got like $1900 shipping and that’s why no one’s jumping on that one but this would be a great buy for the price I think?

1) I don't know enough about the repairs to speak to that, but factor in an extended warranty, and I think you will be fine. Get that price so you know the numbers you are working with.
2) Factor in the cold-weather mileage for your area, if it still works. Woohoo!
3) My '23 Premium with 26,000 miles was listed for $24,999 when I walked in (I haggled them down).
4) If you are interested in a Mach-E, I would look on CarGenius or Cars.com and set the range for as comfortable as you are to travel. (My parents did this and flew to NC on points they had, saved $7k on a purchase of one of their cars.)
5) I LOVE MY PREMIUM!!!
6) There are always deals out there, and be ready to haggle with any dealership.

Keep us posted on what you do, and decide! :)

Looks like the only major item was the replacement of the front motor. If you can get an extended warranty, buy it and drive on.

2024 Mustang Mach-E Premium AWD Extended Range
I've been watching prices of new used mostly 2024 & 2025. That price for a 2024 GT is about right. All the 2024 & 25 GTs have magneride versus finding a PE performance edition models from 21-23. Magneride is the better suspension FYI

Recently I've seen a 2024 Rally in IL for $33,900. Rally models have the magneride and a 1" higher suspension for a pretty balanced comfortable ride on pulled city roads, don't care about off road features.

Love my car as is except I wish I had done more research on the Premium suspension before purchasing.

You'll find a bunch of threads for an affordable upgrade for the non magneride Premium and Select suspension if you don't need a GT

If it's a Premium at that price I would want AWD Extended Range Battery and panoramic roof for that price. If the glass roof isn't your thing then less.

After having the glass roof in my premium I could take it or leave it. As the driver you hardly get to use it except when stopped or parked.

Glass roof is great at night or cloudy days, but the daytime sun glare over my head annoys me so the sunshade is in most days. Heat from the glass roof has not been an issue.

But these cars are fun and I've liked the quality overall after 10 months of ownership in a Premium AWD Extended Range.

To your original deal posted- I feel like the reacquired lemon law type cars if Ford fixes them and puts them back out there hopefully you have pretty much the same experience everyone else did with their non-lemoned premiums. Once the lemon law cars are re acquired they have plenty of time to take them and figure out what was wrong and replace those parts

You'll might want to search the Mach-e forums here and reddit and Facebook to see if anyone had a lemon law car they bought and it's still had trouble. A lot of the early ones were the high voltage junction box and once they replaced them they seemed to be fine.

And $22500 on a 23 Premium long range AWD is pretty good deal. And at that price I would invest in the extended warranty on that. It would totally be worth the upfront cost instead of worrying about anything.

As far as I could tell from the auto check, it’s got kind of a low score for “probability of being on the road in five years” or whatever. But the reason they listed was “mileage.” I mean, it only has 43,000 miles on it. There’s a hypothesis going around that electric vehicle miles aren’t the same as gas car miles because there’s less complexity, less to go wrong. I don’t know if that’s true but even so 43,000 miles doesn’t seem like that much to me.

It looks like a vapor blue Premium AWD like mine, so you obviously have excellent taste.

After owning the GT with the glass roof, first thing I did was I bought the sunshade to put over the glass inside because it really did get a lot hotter in the car without it on sunny days and I guess fortunately it’s hardly ever cloudy down here in South Mississippi, but if I were to have a glass roof again on a car, which I do on my Nissan I wish it were just a regular sunroof that opens and one that’s got an automatic shade built in so you have the option of opening it or covering it without having to undo the little pins and fold it up and put it away.

EDIT:
When I had my ICE Mustang and I wrecked it at the race track I never realized the roof, the metal roof, was actually a part you could order from Ford. It was $300. USAA said go ahead and put any parts you want on the car aftermarket or OEM. Aftermarket was actually cheaper and saved USAA more money. They actually covered me on the RaceTrac because I wasn’t actually racing. It was a testing tune, and the car got away from me. Anyways, I did end up paying in the long run three years extra higher payments, but they covered the whole $15,000 damage. But I said OK let’s put a glass roof on this thing. They wouldn’t cover that because that was $4500, so stuck with the steel roof.

Same thing! First purchase was the Sunshade! Best money spent, and it really does help keep the car cooler here in Texas as well! Plus, I can still see out of it. And the NACS charger adapter, which was well worth it, too.

I have put 3,200 miles on mine since I bought it on Sept. 15th.

Most of the buyback cars are repaired. The only problem with buyback cars are that when you try to trade it in, the branded title means lower trade value. If you run it to the ground, then the impact will be lower. If you trade in frequently, the saving you got today will be paid back when you trade in.

Whether the car will have any problem, that is anyone's guess. The basic warranty is gone. The powertrain and battery warranty is still there.
