Hey everybody, thank you for all the advice thus far about technical advice and choosing which spec car and what charger. I might be finally buying the car today or in a few days. These are my current front leaders for buying down below.

one is a used(2500 miles) 2025 Mach E GT in green with pano roof, performance upgrade, and the owner bought the 7 year ford connect. I could get it with 2.99apr 60months because it’s certified advantage, but I probably will do 72 months with a 5% Apr and pay it off quicker if I can.

option #2(winning right now) the Blue 2025 Mach e GT-still New, with pano roof, performance upgrade, and the aluminum rims which I love. I’ve been haggling with this dealership for a week now and since it’s the end of the month, they are making me a deal. It’s already at 50k from 62k dealer discount, they upped my trade in value from 2500 to 4000(1500 increase), and they are taking an additional like 4500 of the car I belive to get my to a payment I am negotiating. It would also be a 5% Apr and 72months.

the people at the dealership with the used green one haven’t been making me a deal and say they don’t have much room to negotiate, so does it seem smarted to get the new one at such a “low” price. I am currently having a salesmen email me a proposal to Confirm all the discounts.

Do you know how long each vehicle has been on there lot? If its within 30 to 60 days. They are less likely to be willing to take anything off. 61 to 90 days and beyond. They want to hurry up and get it off there lot because now its starting to really cost the dealer money.

I belive the green one has been on the lot for a month and I know the one in blue near me has been here at least since my family moved out here 3 1/2 months ago, so it’s been there at least that long

I’ve only been puttering around for like two months and I’m only 23 years old. I’m trying to get my finances in order before I buy it. I definitely shouldn’t be getting a car That’s this expensive and high-end, but I have no other bills right now so I’m taking advantage of it.

If you are willing to travel. Shop around in other states. You can play the dealerships against each other an get a better deal. That is what I did.

Maybe the Fathom that is coming out mid 27 might be a better fit for your 23 year old life and budget.

Starting at $28,350 and should fit your work equipment.

You stated that you shouldn’t be buying an expensive car right now.

Just a thought…

No thanks as I’ve said in many other posts, I really don’t want a truck unless I go get my own company one day and get a van. With the amount of money, I’ll be saving in gas each month. The high car payment isn’t gonna be that bad. I don’t have rent to pay for another 3 1/2 years and I’ll probably be able to have this car paid off by then if I commit.

My advice is if you plan to keep longer than 3 years, get the extended warranty on whichever you buy, so factor that into your purchase price.

The Green would be a more attractive deal to me. Certified Advantage with 2,500 miles is practically new with a huge discount, and a shorter term with lower APR is more favorable to you financially in the long run. Get the dealer to throw in all-weather mats for the front, rear, and cargo area.

to a payment I am negotiating.
Be careful when negotiating by a payment, they can always lengthen your loan so it looks like you're paying lower monthly. Always calculate out what your total price is at the end of the loan. My recommendation is to get a used one that's less than $30k. Shop around for car loan rates. This credit union has 3.5%:

https://cicu.com/rates/

Invest your extra money while you're young. Don't spend $50k-$60k on a car when you're 23.

Well I’m signing paperwork, and the $62k car I negotiated down to $46k, put 7500 down and got a 4000 trade in so I’m only financing 38k. Which isn’t too bad for what I make.
