Radio / sound system lost?

I have a ‘21 MME GT, got an OTA software update & now my sound system is dead. Actually makes a big thud sound when the car first turns on so I turned the volume all the way down & shut it off. Anyone else run into this problem?

Did you try restarting your Sync screen?

I occasionally lose sound, but it always turns out to be my phone, not the Sync system. (e.g. resetting Sync doesn’t fix it, but resetting the phone does.)
