What I don't understand is why you all are willing to just accept that there is a deficiency instead of making Ford make it right. Why aren't you insisting your dealer do something about it?

My MME has been to the Dealership since Jan 2022 for 4 months on and off, I am under Ford Customer care for all the issues, the only plus is that during every visit some up to 2 weeks Ford are paying for a Premium rental, apart from what I am doing there is nothing else to be done, I am like a Bulldog chewing a bone I won't let go, but unfortunately I am in the lap of the software gods

I have had this issue for months, even having update under the sun, as soon a I start up and the Mustang inside the circle has disappeared I know I will lose all my stations, fed up with it, as you can see by the blue circle I had ALEXA so the latest update had been downloaded, after yet another visit to the Dealership and a total rest, I have now not Mustang and ALEXA, I was told that there will be another download this coming June for Radio issues, yeah right, this is one of several issues I have had over the last 18 months with no resolve in sight

I noticed that too. Once in a while it will guest me, but what gets me more is when it uses my wife's profile when I'm clearly the one unlocking the door, her not even nearby. I'm even still old school and using the fob, so that's even more irritating, especially since she's shorting and I suddenly find myself driving from the dashboard. Simple press of the memory 1 button and all is back to me. I don't recall when it started happening, but I first thought it was because I got a new phone. Wouldn't think so since, again, I'm still a fob'er.

Because it is not the dealer who has the ability to fix it. The dealer relies on Ford to supply the fix. Continuing to hammer on the dealer will only make it so that dealer will not want to assist you at all for any problem.

The effort should be directed to Ford Corporate, but good luck with that. I would point you to the effort a lot of customers directed to Ford to replace all of the first generation HVBJBs and we all know how that turned out.

Also, good luck with a lemon law claim on this type of issue. I am not an attorney, but if you read the statutes in most states, it has to be a material defect that greatly impacts the functionality of the car. This in addition to a lot of other requirements will make a lemon law claim on this issue an uphill battle I am afraid.

Click on the the Ford picture in their message and one of the options will be to send a direct message. I will warn you though on this particular issue you will be probably be spinning your wheels.

Because they can’t fix it.

This is one of the day one bugs still in existence. It needs to be fixed via a software update. As of today, Ford has yet to provide any update that addresses the issue.

If you clicked the start conversation button from the Ford profile account in this thread then it went to the Ford account.
