I started my car this morning and noticed the inner rear tail light was flickering on the bottom half. Upon further inspection I noticed that there was a hairline crack in the cover which of course allowed moisture in. I think I know the answer after searching through the forum but do I have to replace the entire housing to resolve this? Hoping this isn't an $850 resolution.

It might be a bit early in the life cycle of our Mach Es but over time as insurance-totaled models start to show up at wrecker / parts breaker yards, that would be where I would look. I had great luck on finding such items there in the past.

Good morning! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can assist with your light concern on my end.

Interesting. Our inner tail light has moisture, and the dealer said that is normal due to not having a full seal on the lights, and that unless their is pooling, that it is not a big deal. Sounds like I need to get a 2nd opinion before the moisture causes failure.
