When backing up in a tight parking lot and backing off the throttle, I felt the brakes coming on. Is this a factor of 1 pedal drive, reverse braking assist, auto hold? I just want to get off the throttle and smoothly slow roll in reverse. If this makes sense? Thanks.

Reverse brake assist. Turn it off and try again to see the difference.

Thanks! Was totally messing me up! I was test driving a Premium, while waiting on my Select to be delivered.

Can anyone confirm whether there is or is not regen braking in reverse? I would think not, but I’m not entirely sure.

I ask because I have about 100 feet of driveway and when I back out of the garage, I’m going downhill so I have to ride the brakes a bit in reverse (I drive in 2 pedal mode). I’m hoping that regen does not kick in and this bit of daily braking is enough to clean any rust off the pads and rotors. This way I can avoid the period hard braking cycles that some others have suggested. Thanks!
