UK folks,
MME is on my short list of possible EV SUVs to buy.

went for a test drive today and found the car ‘firm’ … which seems to be well reported. I drive a Jag XF currently and the difference is apparent.

Does the ride get better over time or do you stop noticing?

How’s the ride for rear seat passengers?

We've found the ride to be fine. My husband has sat in the back seat a few times when a friend has ridden with us; he is quite comfortable, and has plenty of leg room. He is 5'11", and normal build.

Yes, it's on a firm side, but it feels a lot better than in Tesla. I find it comfortable on most roads, but sometimes the road is just so perfectly uneven that it causes bouncy ride. Doesn't happen often. My backseat passengers are my dogs, they seem to be fine, never complained even during a 1000 mile trip.

I know you asked for UK responses, but I'll chime in anyway. Yes, the ride is firm compared to most vehicles. It's more firm/jarring on roads with bumps/imperfections than my Escape (Kuga), for example. Not dramatically so, but noticeably so.

Has it improved some after thousands of miles?... I think so, some.

Have we gotten more used to it?... yes. But there are still some stretches where it still feels a bit like a pickup suspension with something loose rattling around in the bed.

However on the highway at speed, it's great. If you have good smooth roads, I think you'll love it. The roads in my state (CO) tend to be pretty rough. When we go to NV and UT, the smoother roads there are great. We've only spent a handful of days on the roads in the UK, but they seemed pretty good by comparison.
