Ride Height

[Mr. Mach-E]

Sat in my first Mach-E at the dealer today. I was so anxious to see how high the driver seat was. It has adjustable height of course and with this, I felt I was not in a sports car or sedan.
What I do not understand is why this ride height was never shown in the earlier days. No one showed it videos did not clearly show entrancing or exiting the Mach-E. Wonder why?

I'm a bigger guy and I feel like the door opening is a little small and I have to contort my next just a bit to get in. I wish the seat adjusted just a little bit lower. I also feel the seat sits back just a little too far or the B pillar is just a little bit too far forward and slightly obstructs my view some. But I'm really nitpicking and will quickly get used to both.

My wife (@Liv ) posted a short clip of her getting out of the Mach-E a week or so ago. It's been one of the more frequently asked questions. She was also worried about it coming from a RAV4.

Early on there was a lot of discussions about seating height position, particularly from taller members as well as more seasoned members who did not want to crouch low to sit. I believe some ranges were 27” to 32” off the ground.

This car is more of a crossover and the seat height is pretty good, but not as substantial as my Explorer. I actually like this height even though I prefer that of an SUV.
