Anyone seen something like this? Mine is a 2021 that we bought new, and this rip seems to have come out of nowhere. No known instance of something sharp snagging. Just happened to notice it when climbing in today. Pretty lame. Overall disappointed at this car.

So you own a 4 year old vehicle, have for 4 years, and now it develops a rip, and you have no responsibility for it because you don't know how it might have happened? That's pretty clearly not a seam letting lose.

I simply asked if anyone had seen anything similar, bc I am unaware of my doing anything obvious to cause it. The fact is, this is in a weird spot for it to be my fault. It’s not like it’s where a key in my pocket could have caused a puncture. Could it be my fault? Sure. But it seems weird. The back of my shoulder is not especially sharp.

More broadly, the quality of this car just hasn’t met my expectations, and this is yet another reason. 4 years of ownership. Only 17k miles. Yet this rip, numerous recalls, a failed 12v battery, crummy software that never really improved, etc.

I’ve owned a lot of cars over a lot of years. This just hasn’t been a good one, despite my hope that it would be. If you’ve had a better experience, I’m glad for you. But that doesn’t make my experience any better.
