The first day I had my Mach-E GTPE I reached into the back seat and heard a *POP* on the little "shoulder wing" (not sure what else to call it) on my driver's seat...
This part:
Ever since then (2 months later) it makes an annoying ~creaking~ noise if you lean on that part at all, even affects leaning to the right while driving.
I remember back to a car a had many years ago and trying to get a safety inspection, my car failed because a part of the seat was broken (was like that when I bought it), since the seat is an integral part of the safety restraint system.
I didn't apply an excessive amount of force by any stretch of the imagination - I am about average size and leaned on it.
Anyone have any experience with anything like this?
Should I be concerned? (about structural integrity, etc.)
Is something like this covered under warranty?
Has anyone else's broken in this same way?
Thanks!!
