Yes, that's what I was thinking after looking at their pictures of finished windshields. Perhaps it doesn't matter. I also wondered about the notch and I don't have an answer for you on that. It has helped with wind noise but nothing eliminates it completely and in all honesty, my 2016 Ford Fusion has wind noise as well as my 2015 Acura MDX.Thanks for posting pics! Been away for the past month or so, and was really hoping for a TSB or something from Ford on this. Doesn't look like it. Will look into ordering this as well. When you say you applied it backwards, do you mean the 9mm side should be on the glass, and 8mm on roof? Wonder what that notch is for on the 8mm side
My biggest concern is how this seal will react to extreme temperatures especially in the winter with subzero temps. Time will tell but for now it fixed the louder wind noise that I noticed on my Mach E. I'm not sure if Amazon still handles this. Mine came from China (I know, what else is new) and it took a long time to arrive after ordering (I'm an Amazon Prime member and am spoiled with shipping in 2 days).
