Thanks for posting pics! Been away for the past month or so, and was really hoping for a TSB or something from Ford on this. Doesn't look like it. Will look into ordering this as well. When you say you applied it backwards, do you mean the 9mm side should be on the glass, and 8mm on roof? Wonder what that notch is for on the 8mm side
Yes, that's what I was thinking after looking at their pictures of finished windshields. Perhaps it doesn't matter. I also wondered about the notch and I don't have an answer for you on that. It has helped with wind noise but nothing eliminates it completely and in all honesty, my 2016 Ford Fusion has wind noise as well as my 2015 Acura MDX.
My biggest concern is how this seal will react to extreme temperatures especially in the winter with subzero temps. Time will tell but for now it fixed the louder wind noise that I noticed on my Mach E. I'm not sure if Amazon still handles this. Mine came from China (I know, what else is new) and it took a long time to arrive after ordering (I'm an Amazon Prime member and am spoiled with shipping in 2 days).

They must have got more stock at the local warehouse. Will be here Saturday!
Agreed about how this will hold up to the elements. Let's see...

@Nav , so far do good here for me. I haven’t (and won’t) take it through a commercial car wash, but it has sat in the sun with no effects so far. Remember, this was made for the use we are using it for.

Hey Damon, oh that's right, you were the one who posted this last month! I remember now. Cool, glad to hear so far so good. Looking forward to putting it on this weekend. Got the car tinted recently, and now freshly detailed. I hear you about the car washes. Got a new wash mitt and a few other goodies to help with the DIY washes. Ready to hit the road... without the noise. Now I guess only the coil whine from the small screen will remain... doh!

@JSW did you try 1/4 inch foam?
I saw in another thread that you found the cord to be receding further and further into the gap between the windshield and pano, how did you fix that?
