I would love to hear your experience after another week or so. I also have had multiple back surgeries and one of the reasons I loved the car so much on the test drive was how comfy and smooth it was, and the height was perfect for getting in and out without needing to crouch down or bend too much.

But now reading the forum so many people say the ride is bad and the seats are uncomfortable so I’m getting a little nervous. My test drive was only about 30 minutes.

So please do continue to update your experience, thank you!
Huh .... I've made two 1000-mile round trips in mine a few weeks apart, basically 8 hours straight (except charging stops) in the car for each 500 mile leg, and the seats in my Premium are perfectly comfortable. Frankly, the ride is so smooth on the highway and the adaptive cruise control works so well that it is an effortless drive, probably the easiest road-tripping drive I've ever had. The ride when things are bumpy is indeed bouncy though. But the seats being uncomfortable? Nah, but maybe that's because my previous car was a Bolt with its skinny-ass seats.

Looks sharp! Best to move on and enjoy the new car. I had dirt on headliner that I missed too but some simply green on a micro fiber cleaned it right up. The dealership doesn't do detail level clean just car wash. I've out 2 coats of ceramic on her and the results are awesome.

Congrats on your new MME!

I sure hope when I take delivery there is at least 120 miles on the GOM, since the dealer I chose is over an hour and a half away.

My wife may them take it back and "detail it properly". But truly the dealer was fine with it and accommodated with out complaint or hesitation. That said they would not budge on the 2nd FOB.

IMHO if Ford wants to do well with this car they may want to consider these two goals.

1. Designate an EV salesman at each dealership, all should get trained and pass EV exam before selling, I am talking about understanding fundamentals of electricity and efficiency to show the MME's true advantages when pittted against the competition (efficiency is a big plus in this car's case).

2. Second, dedicated EV technician training, each dealer should have one, to avoid the repair fiasco's on ICE we have all come to know around captive market small town dealer service departments.

Surprises me that they decided to play hardball with the FOB! I got NO argument from our dealer when I asked for it! This is pocket change when you consider what we are paying for these cars!!

Whats up with these cars coming from Mexico all dirty. I have never seen this before with any of the other new cars I have purchased. Ford better get on this and find out why.

EV technician training is required to sell Ford EV's.

There is indeed training for the sales reps and technicians, and my dealer did in fact have a "dedicated" sales rep for the Mach E. The problem is that they normally do in person training, but due to covid last year they did webinars and online training - which proved highly ineffective. They also did the training way too early (august/sept 2020 IIRC), and anything the dealers did learn got forgotten.

My Fusion looked clean when I picked it up under the dealer’s lot lighting, but when I looked at it the next day, there was loose dirt and mud in all sorts of places. It was a mess.

I got the interior all cleaned. All is good. My wife prefers whisper mode over unbridled....

This is NOT OK with me. I noticed this as I took my daughter out for a driving lesson. I'm the only one to sit in the passenger seat in the 90 miles on it.
You did a driving lesson in your brand new MME? Either you're very brave or your daughter is a fantastic student.

Congrats and your car looks amazing!! Not all dealer’s are bad! Ours seem to have bent over backwards to make us happy!
Congratulations!!

Mine too. It was the smoothest buying experience I ever had. Mine was charged to 100%... not necessary, but appreciated since I wasn't too sure about charging being a new EV owner. They wanted to help and asked a number of times, but I declined since I read almost every article prior to delivery.

For me, I don't care much about the sales experience. I wish I didn't even have to go to dealership... although mine was really good. If you're putting down money for an EV, just invest a few hours doing your homework. It's a bit tough on a new model, but there were a number of articles and videos of reviews of the preproduction model.

Ford really needs to invest in the diagnostics and service. If you've watched any of the Monro vids, you know how complex the engineering is on the MME. Thankfully, 2,500 miles later and no issues, but I dread the day if I do.
