Screen brightness issue

Has there been any recent information on the issue where you cannot adjust the screen brightness more than halfway in either dark or light mode? I have a 23 Premium and on 6.8+ and have been unable to increase the screen brightness greater than halfway.

Wondering if we all have this issue and or if anyone heard is this a bug? By design?

Ive had the same problem for a while. I thought it was by design. But looks like its not.

Seems like the person in the thread had a light sensor replaced to get it to work?

Curious if anyone doesn’t have this problem or is this a global issue since forever on this vehicle?

Does anyone have the ability to move the brightness slider past the half way point to the right???

Nope. Never brought it in for this. Was curious if others experienced this issue and hoping a software update is the culprit.

I traded in my 21 select.It didn't have the moonroof .Was wondering if that is the issue .Its just the climate control stuff under the "iPad" screen . The steering wheel screen is great and CAN be adjusted with the headlight switch.
It's practically off it's so dim.The "brightness" slider does go from 0-50 but stops there. "Reset" button does nothing
