Screen Protector - Matte Finish Question

I recently ordered the AOSK screen protector and debated if I wanted the clear or matte finish...I went with matte thinking it would hold less fingerprints. Received it promptly and installs quickly and does not have fingerprints, but have noticed it's slightly blurry. Have others with the matte finish though the same thing? Have others that got the standard finish experienced any change in the quality or sharpness of the information displayed? I'm thinking of ordering the non-matte finish to try it and hope it's clearer and also does as well against the fingerprints.

Yes, in my experience, all matte screen protectors do this. I have this same one on my MME and still love it. I also use a matte screen protector on my iPhone. I'm used to it, but when I took off the screen protector on my Premium to sell it and first got my GT PE that didn't have it yet, I was shocked at how awesome the screen is without it. I still went ahead and put another AOSK matte screen protector on my GT PE as I like them and rarely ever get a smudge or fingerprint on it. On a clear or "HD" screen protector, you'll definitely see more fingerprints compared to the matte. It's the matte texture that helps combat them but also leads to the blurriness you're seeing.

Don’t have it on my car yet, but a matte one on my phone. It is sure easier on the eyes and cuts glare really well. No fingerprints. I did get used to the change in screen contrast.

Yeah, that’s what makes it “matte”. The “rough” surface makes it non reflective and fingerprint resistant with a slight reduction in clarity. I guess some can be better or worse but they will never be as clear as..well..clear protectors.
