SecuriAlerts is annoying

For some reason, it alerts me for EVERY door opening and thinks it's unauthorized. I wonder if it has to do with me using the FOB and PaaK at the same time. I'll just turn it off for now. Is anyone else seeing this?

My understanding is, when turned on, it is supposed to alert you every time a door opens.

Either switch it off/on as needed or set a schedule so it turns on when you don't normally use the car and off when you do.

It doesn't matter if you use a key or not. So even if someone duplicates your key, you'll get a warning if they get into your car.

SecuriAlerts is meant as a system for when you are leaving your car for a longer period, ie. at an airport. Switch it on when you’re leaving the car alone and back off when you are using the car. Not as a daily use thing.

Feel free to email [email protected] and give them recommendations like:

Allow for "trusted places". Where you can set locations where it automatically turns off.

Allow notification settings so you can be more specific what you want to see.

iFTTT integration...

Doubt they will respond, but enough feedback might help drive the features most people want.

I tried it then disabled it. Will use for long term parking only.
