Securing Ford Mobile Power Cord

I'm going to be taking a trip with my Mach-e and will be staying for a few days at a hotel which does not have an EV charging station but does have outside 110v outlets for winter time engine heaters. I'd like to charge my car overnight using the Ford Mobile Power Cord that i bought with the car, but I'm concerned that someone may try to steal the "power brick" or the 110 V plug adapter or both. Does anyone have a suggestion about how I can theft proof everything?

I believe I read where one person rolled front tire on the cord To prevent theft. Also, and not 100% sure on this one, routed through frunk and then only closed to the first latch so still locked but room for cord.

Bring proper gauge extension cord. Open frunk, put charger inside frunk, with cord running to charging port, and extension cord to outlet. Close frunk on position 1 only, not all the way.

When ready to leave, open door and pull release twice, then open frunk.

This ought to work. Do you think a 12 gauge cord is sufficient or should I try to find a 10 gauge?

Has anyone thought about padlocking both the plug adaptor and the charger brick to the lamppost where the 110V socket is located?
