I got this message in my Ford pass app when I was driving: "security system detected an unusual activity"
Is my car cyber attacked?

Did you go look?

Ford doesn't have cyber attack alarms...

C'mon Ford, "an unusual activity" is too ambiguous. Why did they have to change it? Is "detected motion" so hard to say?

Ok, half a dozen notifications that "security system has detected vehicle intrusion and triggered the alarm at..." in the last week. I don't have any pets. Car was parked in my driveway every time. Tonight it happened again, saw the parking lights flashing and a faint chirp from the car repeated every few seconds. Checked the car over: no doors open, no frunk open, no hatchback open. No one inside the car. Turned car on then off and selected "turn off motion sensors". Will see if it happens again while parked. Any ideas what is going on?

Look carefully. Happened to me again a couple of nights ago, found tiny paper scraps and mouse turds in one spot under a seat. If a lady bug can trigger the alarm, even a very small mouse could as well...

Mine did it once since that I’ve had it and what is annoying is if you’re sleeping, ? hopefully the thing goes off and shuts off by itself and doesn’t come back on.

100% try to find a mouse. I had my alarm and Ford Pass displaying the exact same message for 2 days. Even happened away from my house, when I was parked at work. 3rd morning, on my drive to work, a young mouse jumps from my steering wheel across my left hand and onto the driver-side door. I was able to pull over, open the door and knock the fella off to run into a field. Haven't had a motion detection since.

I'm thinking recent update is triggering alarm...got 5 last night. Unless the mice have been driving with me, windows are up. Recently received 3 updates and first drive has about 10 reboots so thinking this is another added entertainment feature ;-)
