Select Trim Headlights

Hey everyone,
I ordered a premium ext battery rwd but couldnt wait so I found a select with everything I wanted. I didnt realize the headlights were different but, I really want the sequential turn signal on the front headlight. Anybody know a way to get that aftermarket? If worst comes to worst will the premium headlights fit my select? Tia

Your best bet is probably to drive the Select until the Premium arrives and then trade it in or sell it. You’ll likely come out ahead after both tax credits.

I believe you can just buy the headlights on Ford Parts. They cost about $1000 though

Agree. This is actually a really solid plan right now considering the market.

This right here. I did this with a first edition and bought a GT. I broke even on driving the first edition 10,500 miles...

It's not just the sequential turn signals that are different. It's also the headlights themselves. Some trims have LED projector and some have LED reflector headlights. FWIW...

I believe you would need dealer programming for the sequential lights as well. I do not know if it’s feasible or cost effective. The select headlight are perfectly fine, but I agree I love those moving blinker lights on the premium.

I would assume that's just how the headlight behaves to the signal for a turn being sent. You can already buy plug and play kits for sequential tail lights in general so I cant imagine a headlight being that different.

The Premium headlights in principle support matrix LED outside the US so I'd be really curious if it is just plug&play or requiring extra coding effort.

Just placed the same question to my dealer though as premium lights appear to me way more comfortable in the dark (in particular matrix LED which is not allowed for you guys).

Any news on your side @hbirring01 ?
