Had a “service soon” alert pop up today with no additional details. FordPass app didn’t alert me to anything either.
Any way for me to easily get more information on the cause?

I did install a smartcgarge OBD-II connector from my power company to monitor charging (rebate program) earlier in the day before this popped up… the alert came probably 50mi/hours after I plugged it in though

A down load does not mean it is up and running right away. It can take sometime and affect other things. Wait a day and see if you get a repeat.

Im going to bet the car saw the ODB2 device as a phantom draw and thought something was wrong. little weird they are doing it that way instead of using a smart meter or a meter on the evse.

Yea… wish there was an api they could pull. That’s what’s they do for Tesla.
They do an onboard device to track if you charge the car in their service area and the times you’re charging it.
