Thanks for the heads up about scanner apps.

I don’t think it was the shifter knob glitch, as I am pretty ingrained to put my foot on the brake when I get in the car until I am ready to start moving.

I called the dealership, and got a partial update. The service person was just kinda going off what was on the ticket, but it sounds like they had either replaced the HVJB, or were in the process of replacing it. It sounded like that might have cleared up the service vehicle alert one way or another.

I still need the windshield/roof resealing, and this is a good week to get that done, so I think they are going to try and get that done as well. Hopefully I get a better report in the next couple of days.

I got my car back from the dealership today. It was there for so long due to needing the roof resealing recall performed, and I was out of town for last week. So the timing of everything worked out.

The report from the service department person was that the tech updated some of the modules and that seemed to fix it. The notes on the report include "TSB 212245. Charge Battery, Program PCM and other modules. clear and retest. okay".

The HVBJB was also replaced under warranty due to the recall as well. And no alerts when I got in the car, so hopefully it stays that way.
