New Mach E owner here in Iowa, bought down in Missouri with a nice road trip home. Previous owner of a 66 Mustang and a 93 Mustang (prior to marriage) and now after 20 years the Wife let me get another one.

Doesn't seem to be too many in black! Anyone have more pics of the GT PE in black? Supposed to pick mine up tomorrow, but have a Premium in Blue that I really like!

yeah, when I ordered mine early last year the dealer called me and said "are you sure you want black?... they have a rare orange or a blue one too that are unique to the GT". I said no thanks, this car stands out enough on it's own without having to get annoyed with the color after a few months. I had a yellow car in college that I regretted after about 6 months. And I had already had a year from original deposit to figure out what color I wanted for the MME, and no regrets when it was delivered in the fall.
Had a black Charger SRT8 5 years ago that I thought was the most beautiful car on the road...when it was clean. So I knew what I was getting into by having a black car in the dirty/salty Northeast. (Plus its a garage queen while there is snow on the ground, so that helps avoid the worst of salt season).

Same with me! I got my GT PE 2 weeks ago and love it. I put a deposit on an abandoned order and they only had blue, orange or black to choose from (GT PEs seems to come in blue and orange way more than other colors, lol), and really wanted gray or white. I was pretty torn, but told myself I'll decide when I get to the dealer and see it in person. Holy smokes, with the wheels and grill and everything!! It is amazing!! It'll be hard to keep clean, but its garaged at work and at home, so it shouldn't be too bad.

There doesn't seem to be many (or as many) black MME's vs the other available colors. The Gray/Silver colors seem to be the safe colors, and of course flashy colors like the blue and orange always get the views. The two versions of white look pretty cool, but neither seems to be an actual white white. I would have totally ordered a infinite blue GT if it was ever available, but I'll gladly take black any day.

I've owned a few black cars, and keeping them clean doesn't seem any harder to me than any other color. But I also have a garage and live in California where the weather doesn't vary as much as other places.

Got some time to put some tint on the front windows to match the back. Unfortunately scratched the drivers side so I’ll have to re-do it but looks really great tinted.

Gotta be honest, I really like the wheels without the inserts…BUT I kinda like them with the inserts. I think they look futuristic. Definitely different.
