Shaking mirrors

Does anyone else have a mirror that shakes when it opens and closes when you turn on and off the car? It doesn't do it all the time but one side shakes like my dog when it would have seizures. My rear wiper fluid doesn't only sprays on one half of the window as well.. We're getting close to the 36k mark.. I'm wondering if it's covered under warranty.

I’d recommend you give your dog CBD and the seizures will disappear like magic. Can’t help you with your car issue, however.

Could be a sign the motor is going out, mine stutters as well. Some people have had luck getting it replaced under warranty. Definitely worth taking it in for both issues and checking TSBs for your car so you can get them all knocked out before your warranty is up!

I think I manually folded it in and out and then it seemed better in my case. Don’t know if that would work or not. Just a thought

Does it look like it’s attached to a step motor. Mine has been folding and unfolding one step at a time for the past 2 years.

I'm not sure what a step motor is. One mirror is smooth. The other is jerky

My driver’s side mirror is jerking when it opens and closes. The passenger’s side mirror is fine.
Took it into the dealer and told to live with. Told not important.
Oh, well.
