So this week the car has started to be a little wonky with detecting objects beside me.
I park in a fairly tight spot, wall on one side, and my wife's car on the other. Neither of us can fully open our doors, can only get them opened maybe half way. When parking my car it always starts alerting right before the threshold of the garage. It will then stop for a second till more of the frontend is inside then it will start alerting about the wall and my wife's car. I have a tendency to hug left then adjust right enough to clear the mirror to give my wife the most room possible to not dent my car lol
However this week I've pulled into the garage 3 or 4 times with absolutely no alerts what so ever till I get to the "wall" of the garage. Once the front camera comes up then all the sudden the orange/red outline comes up all around my car. I would say maybe my wife has parked further over to the right, however she's out of state, the car has not moved since Friday last week. I've had a few issues as well where the car has not detected a car behind me when backing up. Thankfully I don't trust all this fancy tech and use mirrors and eye balls looking out the windows. However knowing that these assistant tools don't seem to be very reliable is a little disappointing.
Guess I'll add it to the list of things for the dealer to look at when they do the recall work.
