Side Mirrors Keep Reseting

We went out to NJ last week to pick up our Batmobile (prem ex awd). Despite terrible weather and traffic, driving across the full width of PA to get home was one of the best driving experiences of my life. I'm totally in love with the car but I have this one issue that I'd love some feedback on.
We live in a townhouse so the garage is rather narrow so to be safe I fold in the side mirrors when I pull in and leave them folded until I'm out in the driveway at which point I hit the button on the top left of the driver door to expand them but when I do this they always forget my previous setting and I have to readjust them both.
Anyone else have this problem or have an idea of what I could do to make the setting stick? I have a profile setup and all that, everything else is fine.

Do you mean the actual mirror position?

if so you need to save it after setting to either the 1 or 2 memory position depending on who’s driving.

Yeah, the mirrors are pointed down and at the car. How do you force that save?
